Second Chance

Do you think you have sinned so badly that God cannot forgive you? Let’s look at some great people in the bible that sinned just like we do but God gave them a second chance and used them mightily to glorify him.

1. David sinned by committing adultery, deception and murder. He repented and God used him in a mighty way.

2. Apostle Paul who was formerly Saul of Tarsus. He harassed and persecuted Christians in the early church until on the road to Damascus he had an encounter with Jesus. He repented and God used him for his glory.

3. Peter who was a Disciple of Jesus he denied Jesus three times and failed many times just as we do but he was used greatly.

4. The woman who was caught in adultery in the very act and was about to be stoned until Jesus told them he who is without sin cast the first stone. They dropped their stones and left and Jesus told her to go and sin no more.

5. Rahab the Prostitute was used by God by showing her great faith in helping God’s people.

6. Moses killed a man but God still used him.

God wants to forgive you and have a personal relationship with him. He can give you that second chance where others wouldn’t. He wants to use you for his glory!
